Purchase Manager

Job Purpose

Looking for an experienced purchasing manager to handle our company's procurement activities. To be successful as a purchasing manager you should be able to manage and optimize purchasing activities and processes.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.

  • Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff and allocating tasks.

  • Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.

  • Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.

  • Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.

  • Managing the maintenance of office/manufacturing equipment and machinery.

  • Experience as a purchasing manager for 3 to 4 years in a similar position.


Prior purchasing department experience is preferred, as exposure to vendor development, purchase vendor development, purchase order, and chemical industry expertise.


Entrepreneurial mindset, solid commercial understanding, great qualitative analytical abilities, knowledge of numerous chemicals, respect, teamwork, and collaboration. Character, talent, and experience are all excellent. Excellent knowledge of the customer's important requirements.
